News has spread online that Ogie Diaz will no longer be Liza Soberano’s manager!

Ogie made the announcement on his YouTube vlog on May 27, clarifying that the young actress and he are still on good terms despite the transition.

“Magalang naman ‘yung bata, in fairness, at saka kilala mo naman ako, kapag happiness na ng tao ang concern, ibinibigay ko ‘yan. Kahit sa pagaalaga ng mga talents, pag may nagpapaalam sa akin na aalis na… go go. Ang sine-save ko kasi ay ‘yung friendship.”

It is important to note that Liza will be managed by her fellow actor James Reid, as her contract with Ogie is set to end soon.  “Legally speaking, ako pa rin po ang manager ni Liza Soberano hanggang May 31, 2022. 11 years po kaming nagsama ni Liza bilang mag-ama at bilang manager-talent.”

Diaz also revealed that Liza is planning to pursue other opportunities abroad.

“At ‘yun nga kasama roon sa mensahe niya sa akin na gusto niyang mag-try sa Hollywood. At siyempre hindi naman ako ‘yung tipong alam ko rin ‘yung hanggang Hollywood. Kumbaga hanggang dito lang ang kaalaman ko bilang manager.”

It can be recalled that Liza recently turned heads when she, along with James,  attended the first annual Gold Gala event in Los Angeles, California last Saturday, May 21. James and Liza Soberano were also seen in Los Angeles with their friends.

Meanwhile, James  returned to Los Angeles to focus on his music career after taking a break in the Philippines
